Dec. 9: Active Shooter Preparedness for congregations

Would leaders from your congregation be interested in a free Active Shooter training?

Although no church wants the worst to happen, we can still prepare to respond in ways that are safe, calm and protect as many as possible. For example, even though it is a tragedy for a church to have a fire, we still prepare emergency exit plans. Without a plan, our “fight or flight” instincts take over, only making situations worse.

Local defense seminar leaders at Blue-U have offered a free 2-hour course specifically for churches:

Saturday, December 9

Heritage Baptist Church
105 Lock Street
Nashua, NH 03064

The event is free. We can accommodate up to 100 people. RSVP by clicking here.

Joe Hileman of Blue-U reached out to us on Monday after WMUR interviewed the NH Council of Churches regarding the gun violence at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Click here to see the WMUR 9 video coverage and transcript.
