Join us for the blessing of all water + a healing of wounded places with Trebbe Johnson as we celebrate Earth Day at Church of the Woods!

- 9 am ~ service of contemplation & Communion
- 11 am ~ Blessing of the Waters (to include our new well!)
- 12 pm ~ picnic lunch
- 1 pm ~ Healing of Wounded Places with Trebbe Johnson*
- 3 pm ~ service of contemplation
What to bring
- Your own picnic lunch & beverage
- Your own special water sample to mingle and receive blessings with others’ water
- Your own photo, memory, small token, etc. of a place/land you would like to mourn and heal during Trebbe’s afternoon program

Trebbe Johnson is the founder and executive director of “Radical Joy for Hard Times,” a worldwide community of people dedicated to bringing meaning, beauty, and value to places that have been damaged by human or natural acts. She is the author of The World Is a Waiting Lover and 101 Ways to Make Guerrilla Beauty, plus her new book, Aphrodite at the Landfill, which will be published this fall. Her articles about people’s emotional and spiritual relationship with nature have appeared in Orion, Sierra, Ecopsychology, The Ecologist, The Nation, Harper’s, and other magazines. Trebbe lives with her husband in rural northeastern Pennsylvania, a region currently under exploitation by natural gas companies.
