Lay Servant Course Poster
Rev. Richard Boyden and Pastor Aaron Cox are presenting a new course, “Class Leaders: Recovering a Tradition”. This is brand new course material with information of great importance to the traditions and history of our church! All laity are invited to participate in Lay Servant Ministries courses, not just persons seeking to become a Lay Servant.
This study explains what the recovery of this tradition can mean for congregations, and offers some guidelines for the revitalized office of class leader. It is based on the book, “Class Leaders: Recovering a Tradition” by David Lowes Watson. In 1988 the General Conference restored class leaders and class meetings to the Book of Discipline after a 50-year absence.
The Registration fee for this study is $45 payable to the White Mountain Parish. This fee will cover the cost of books, training material and meals. Lunch and snacks will be made available each day. You must attend both days. There is a class limit of 20 for class. Quick response is encouraged. Please complete and return this Registration Form as soon as possible. For more information, contact Aaron Cox at 603-444-6388 or ascox42@gmail.com.
