Giving a Window of Peace

Hello, Friends,

I work with the NH Council of Churches Women’s Prison Ministry at the NH Correctional Facility for Women. We only need $3,000 more to reach our goal of installing a Stained Glass Window for the Interfaith Chapel in the new prison scheduled to be open in Concord in 2018. This is a positive move for many reasons, especially as our current facility doesn’t even have a chapel.

At our new facility, the Interfaith Chapel will be a sacred place for incarcerated women of all religions. I’ve long hoped for a Chapel that would be a place of peace, restoration, and renewal in the midst of harsh prison life.

NH Stained Glass Artist, Susan Pratt-Smith met with a group of women in the current women’s prison in Goffstown to create an image from their inspiration. What was created is the four season design above.

Your donation of $25, $50, $100 or more today can help us make this interfaith stained glass installation a reality.

Thank you for helping us enrich the lives of those women in our community who are incarcerated. As people of faith, let’s raise the final $3,000 needed to give them this sacred space.

Blessings,

Rev. Beth Richeson
