C-CAR Recovery Coach Academy
Greater Tilton Area Family Resource Center, 5 Prospect St, Tilton  

The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© is a five-day intensive training academy focusing on providing individuals with the skills need to guide, mentor and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs. CCCAR Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches Greater Tilton Area Family Resource Center, 5 Prospect Street, Tilton

Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches is a training that addresses many areas including: defining the coaching service role and functions, coaching standards, issues of vulnerability, ethical decision making, performance enhancement, and legal issues. This course will help Recovery Coaches maintain good boundaries when serving others. This course does earn 16 CEUs. Space is limited. Cost $60. TO REGISTER: Call 603-286-4255

IV/AIDS and Hepatitis Prevention for Peer Recovery Coaches
Family Resource Center, 5 Prospect Street, Tilton

This is a one-day training. It will introduce peer recovery coaches to prevention strategies for HIV, STD and Hep C transmission. This will be an in-depth training on issues surrounding the prevention and transmission of HIV, STD and HEP C. It will include extensive training in harm reduction strategies and personal safety approaches to the communication of these diseases. The cost is $50.00, Scholarships Available.
