National Religious Campaign Against Torture on drone warfare

From the National Religious Campaign Against Torture (NRCAT):

We are providing faith groups and congregations materials to educate individuals on the history and the moral challenges of drone warfare.  Faith groups are actively seeking tools to bring awareness about the United States use of lethal drones so that they become more informed about important issues addressed in the media.  We have resources for communities to get involved by learning more about armed drones and to have enriching  faith-based conversations on the use of armed drones and human rights, which include:

  • One or two 30-minute videos
  • Discussion guide
  • Leader guide
  • Petition
  • Drone fact sheets

NRCAT is partnering with the Interfaith Network on Drone Warfare to provide an opportunity for your congregation or small group to participate in conversations about the use of lethal drones. Watch a half hour film that explores the lethal use of drone technology, share your thoughts and reflections on the issue, and, if you choose, take action to put limits on armed drones. Please call 202-853-9012 or email kschol@nrcat.org our staff organizer, Kristin Schol to learn more about this opportunity! You may also use this Contact Form and we will reach out to you.
