Plymouth Congregational hosts the National Geographic movie Gender Revolution. The movie will be followed by an “Ask a Trans Person Anything” panel discussion.c The event is sponsored by Freedom NH:

At the last panel, transgender people discussed their experiences with religion and family, common misconceptions, and next steps for political action at the state level to ensure transgender people are protected from discrimination.

One, most Granite Staters have probably never met someone who is transgender, so they have no idea of the kind of discrimination their transgender neighbors face when explicit non-discrimination protections are not in place. Two, some people have genuine concerns about how #TransBillNH could impact their community.

Let’s address these questions and concerns head on.
