“United Methodist Student Day calls the Church to support students as they prepare for life in uniting faith with knowledge.” (Par. 263.4, The Book of Discipline 2008)

On the last Sunday of this month, November 26, congregations of the United Methodist Church may take up a collection for Student Day. The funds support scholarships administered by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM). Participating conferences may award scholarships to United Methodist students who reside in the conference and who attend or will attend a U.M.-related college or university.
