Please join us for a special Ask A Muslim Anything workshop, intended for clergy. Robert Azzi has hosted public Ask A Muslim Anything discussions in churches, schools and libraries around New Hampshire. Often participants will pack the room, eager to ask questions about being Muslim and receive his thoughtful and affable answers.

Robert Azzi invites clergy of all denominations and churches for a special opportunity on Wednesday, September 26. You are invited to:

  • Bring your questions as church leaders to ask in a confidential environment
  • Talk about how Islamophobia might be best addressed from our pulpits on Sunday morning
  • Support each other in learning more about Islam and how to talk about this faith in our roles as church leaders

Robert is a photojournalist, columnist and public speaker who lives in Exeter NH. An Arab American Muslim, he writes on issues of Identity, Conflict, and Islam, particularly as they apply in the Middle East and the Global South. Born in New Hampshire, he’s lived in Beirut, Cairo, Athens, Jeddah and New York. Although he returned to the Granite State in the late 1980s, he continues to travel to visit and work in the Middle East. You can learn more about Robert Azzi on his blog.

If you are not ordained clergy, this program would be appropriate if you would be in a position to preach or teach on Islam and Islamophobia in your denomination.
